Z-LION 16KM Hybrid transitional polishing pads are also called metal chips polishing pads, semimetal polishing pads, or filling metal polishing pads. They are widely used as transitional polishing pads to transition the polishing process from metal polishing to resin polishing. The special features of this hybrid transitional polishing pad are as follows:
• High-quality diamonds and resins are used in the formula. With metal chips embedded in the pad, it is aggressive enough to remove deep scratches left behind by coarse grit metal bond grinding pads efficiently.
• Hot press time and temperature are set during production to ensure quality consistent.
• Metal chips embedded in resin, wear evenly with the resin and leave fine scratches. The life of this hybrid pad is good, a set of 12pcs covers around 5000-12000 square feet.
• Rubber layer in correct hardness, to absorb vibration and to increase adhesiveness between velcro and resin working surface. No velcro peeling off so the pad can be used out.
• With this hybrid polishing pad to transition the polishing from metals to resins, we can skip several steps of resin polishing, saving time, labor, and cost.
• Different molds 16K,16A,16KA, and 16KY can be used to make hybrid transitional polishing pads as well. Other molds can be customized too.
