Description:

• Popular sizes of double-row diamond cup wheels that are used in the concrete polishing industry are 5inch, 6inch and 7inch. The number of segments varies with size.
• The metal base of the cup wheels comes with venting holes to dissipate heat when used dry. Those holes also reduce the weight of the cup wheel making it workable on hand-held grinders.
• Non threaded 22.23mm bore, threaded 5/8-11 or M14 arbor are both available.
• Soft, medium, and hard bonds are available for different hardness of concrete floors. Extra soft, super soft, extra hard, and super hard are also available if needed.
• General grits 30#, 50#, 70#, 100#. Coarse grits usually have a softer bond, higher diamond toughness, and lower diamond concentration to produce faster grinding and improve overall working efficiency. Fine grits usually have harder bonds, lower diamond toughness, and higher diamond concentration to produce a smooth finish.
• In the concrete polishing industry the cup wheel is mainly used on hand-held grinders for grinding and smoothing of areas where floor grinders can not reach.

• There are two rows of segments on the cup wheel. The first row with longer segments laying along the outer edge and the second row with shorter segments staggered arranged. The design helps to keep cooling water detained in the space between segments when in wet application and to provide channeling for dust when in dry application.
